PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ORDERING

We are a small operation and as such have a limited number of breeding stock producing eggs and chicks. Birds may have their own agenda so eggs from all breeds may not be available at the same time. Please note any birds designated as “Project” are still a work in progress and may hatch the odd chick which may not conform to the parent stock.

HATCHING EGGS - I collect throughout the week and ship on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I test for fertility before offering them for sale and insist on a minimum fertility of 85%. Extras are included whenever possible. Due to the rising cost of foam shippers I have made the decision to only ship using bubble pockets. Within Alberta I prefer to use the Canada Post flat rate boxes. A dozen eggs plus extras is $25 and guaranteed 3 day delivery. For all other provinces I use Purolator via Flagship to keep cost down as much as possible. Shipping cost is customers responsibility. 96 hour heat packs are available for $5 each. Payment by EMT to be paid within 24 hours of eggs being shipped. As always no guarantees on hatching eggs as once they leave our hands there are just too many variables out of our control that can affect the hatch rate.

CHICKS - I can ship by West Jet or Air Canada Cargo. Chicks are shipped in plastic totes with ventilation and food. You are responsible to book and pay for flight unless carrier specifically requires booking by shipper. Price for crate and delivery to airport or depot is $60. A minimum order of 10 chicks is required and we do not ship chicks before April 15. I also like to grow them out for a week or two before shipping to give them the best chance at a safe trip.

Chicks or eggs can also be prearranged to be picked up at farm gate.
